Q. What was the first coin you bought?
The first coin I purchased was Chainlink. My husband sent me the white paper about two years ago and I was sold. Chainlink was what first introduced me to the crypto world. Reading about oracles led me down a DLT rabbit hole. From there I couldn’t consume enough info re: different use cases. Then, because of my background in government and politics, I started to research the implications of defi. I’m far from a maxi- but with the recent launch of CCIP and keepers mainnet, plus the record number of integrations, Chainlink still remains my favorite investment! #HODL
Q. If you were gifted $1k, what coin would you be buying more of?
Tough call right now! I can never have enough $LINK but would most likely split some off to $HBAR, $RSR, $TEL and $GRT. Very curious to see the outcome of the $XRP SEC case before I invest again. I reduced my position but am planning on ramping up.
Q. What crypto project(s) you have your eye on?
I am quite fascinated by The Graph, which is an indexing protocol for organizing blockchain data and making it easily accessible. To be able to deposit GRT into a bonding curve to signal on a specific subgraph, and then earn a portion of the query fees for the subgraphs they signal on is a game changer. DApp developers, data consumers and other community members can all be curators and use their knowledge about Web3 space to assess the subgraphs.
Q. Metaverse vs Defi?
Definitely both! But I’ve done a lot more research in the defi space. Just starting to learn about the metaverse. Real estate transactions coming soon!
Q. Best piece of crypto investing advice someone gave you?
1. READ THE WHITEPAPERS
2. Email yourself, print out, store, tattoo your private keys for all of your wallets. Just make sure they’re secure.
3. Be patient. Trust the fundamentals.
Q. Fav influencer/account that we should follow?
@ChainLinkGod
@JChervinsky (Jake Chervinsky from the blockchain association)
